ListUP - University of Portland Mailing Lists

If you would like a new mailing list on ListUp, or if you would like to convert an existing list to the new system, send the following information to help@up.edu :

1.       Requested name for your list (or the name of the existing list)

2.       Short statement of Subject matter

3.       Full description of the list

4.       Who will be the owners of the list?

5.       How do you want to manage subscriptions?:

a.       Closed – only the list owners can add/remove subscribers

b.       Open to UP – anyone at UP can subscribe or subscribe themselves

c.       Open to everyone – anyone with an e-mail address can subscribe or unsubscribe themselves

d.       Open to everyone but requires owner approval

6.       Who can send to this list?:

a.       Only owners

b.       Subscribers

c.       Subcribers and moderated

7.       Moderated or unmoderated? – if your list is moderated, all e-mails sent to the list go to moderators for approval

8.       If moderated, provide a list of moderators

9.       Visibility:

a.       Not visible on the website

b.       Visible to anyone at UP

c.       Visible to everyone

10.   Do you want your list visible in the Outlook address book and “People” in 365?
